So there are some interesting developments on the Metal Detecting web site front. Currently, there is a new detecting site that aims to be a on-line web-zine for metal detecting! The thought of this has already got me fired up!!! I read my W&E cover to cover every month, then cruise the web and usually hit forums, but this site will attempt to bring the two together. They're plan is to offer up great articles on a consistent basis, plus offer other great features like a photo of the week, reviews (accessories, detectors, forums, blogs, etc). They're also going to include some new aspects of web interaction including user reviews of articles, youtube feeds and offer RSS syndication so people can post articles on their web site and blogs!!!

They are in heavy development and would like users/writers to submit their articles for the launch of the web site. That's all fine and dandy.. but wait.. they put up a contest. They're trying to gather 30 metal detecting articles and they're going to give out a new VibraProbe as the prize. Now.. I've been eye-balling one of these, so I submitted an article.. the first one. I'm working on number two will be coming soon.
